The other day I got to thinking. I make this really good chocolate banana smoothie for my daughter and it hit me. What if I incorporate cacao powder into the banana cookies and make them SUPER chocolatey! How could I possibly go wrong? I initially had no idea what to expect and was so grateful and completely shocked. These flourless double chocolate cookies are fudgy, filled with chocolate, slightly chewy, and so easy to make. In less than fifteen minutes you can have a healthy chocolate cookie!

Before I get to the best batch of flourless double chocolate cookies I’ve ever made, I want to give a little life update. Well, they turned out amazing! I would definitely recommend adding in other mix-ins of your choice (like chocolate chips or nuts for added flavor and texture), but even just these ingredients alone are surprisingly delish. They definitely hit the spot when I’m craving something sweet!

Remember how I said I was seriously going to start eating healthier again and exercising? Well I am still trying, and sort of succeeding I suppose. I have been going to the gym as often as I can, I’ve been cutting back on sugar and processed products. And it’s actually not that bad. The recipe is below and super simple. Once you mix together your wet ingredients, you’ll fold in the dry ingredients and get to scooping. If the batter is too runny, put it in the fridge for a little while to chill, then scoop out. But these babies right here have saved me. They truly satisfy my cravings for something sweet and decadent, especially when I get those late afternoon munchies.
