27+ Building Pallet Daybed-DIY Daybed Plans

This outdoor sofa was my inspiration. However, there were no building instructions really and I was going to have to make mine bigger as well since it was going to be a daybed and not a sofa. I had fully intended on Grunt and I building this together, but the next thing I knew, I was running around the house trying to get the kid to use the potty and Nicky showed up to help Grunt make the outdoor daybed.

With that in mind, we decided to take the twin guest bed out of his Second Room (which served as nothing more than a junk and clothing repository), make a new DIY daybed to better fit the mattress, put it in the First Room and flank it. The daybed would serve as a sofa while watching the boob tube or zapping digital aliens, and it would still serve as a guest bed when needed.

You can find out a lot of daybed DIY designs online. Pick the design that you like and think you can follow it easily. Gather the materials required that almost includes wood pallets, steel nails and steel bolt. After picking a daybed DIY plan, start assembling the wooden pallets.
